Last updated: 29 September 2026
1. Purpose and presentation
These General Terms and Conditions govern the booking and rental arrangements for Mas du Camisard, a furnished holiday rental located at 635 chemin Jean Cavalier, 30720 Ribaute-les-Tavernes, France, as well as the conditions governing the use of the Mas du Camisard website.
The property is rented under the French Loueur en Meublé Non Professionnel (LMNP) status, under SIRET number 944 867 191 00016.
All direct bookings are subject to these General Terms and Conditions and to the seasonal rental agreement provided to the guest. Any specific provisions expressly set out in the rental agreement supplement these General Terms and Conditions.
2. Booking and payment
Booking requests may be made via the website, by email or by telephone.
A 30% deposit of the rental price is required at the time of booking. The remaining 70% balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the arrival date.
If a booking is made less than 30 days before the start of the stay, the full amount is due at the time of booking.
Payment must be made within 3 days of the rental agreement being sent. The booking becomes final upon receipt of the signed rental agreement and the payment due.
3. Price and tourist tax
The price applicable to the stay is the price communicated to the guest in the offer and confirmed in the rental agreement.
Included services and any additional charges are specified in the offer or rental agreement.
The tourist tax, where applicable, is collected in accordance with the regulations in force and is payable in addition to the rental price.
4. Security deposit
A €700 security deposit is required and secured exclusively through the Swikly platform.
Approximately 15 days before arrival, the guest will receive a secure link to complete this formality.
The security deposit is released in accordance with the terms and conditions of Swikly and the rental agreement. In the event of damage, loss or any breach identified at the end of the stay, the security deposit may be held for the time required to assess the situation.
If the amount of the loss or damage exceeds the security deposit, the owner reserves the right to claim the additional amount, subject to appropriate supporting documentation.
5. Property capacity and occupancy
Mas du Camisard can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests, including no more than 6 adults.
This capacity may not be exceeded without the owner’s prior written consent.
The property is intended exclusively for temporary holiday accommodation. Subletting or transferring the rental agreement is prohibited without the owner’s written consent.
Guests must respect the property, its facilities and the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood. Use of the swimming pool and table tennis table is permitted until 10:00 p.m. After this time, any noise disturbance must be avoided.
6. Insurance
The guest must have, for the duration of the stay, insurance covering rental risks and any damage for which the guest may be held liable in the rented property.
Proof of such insurance must be provided to the owner before arrival, in accordance with the arrangements communicated at the time of booking.
Depending on the guest’s country of residence and insurance policy, this cover may be included in their home insurance policy or provided through specific insurance covering temporary holiday accommodation.
If proof of insurance is not provided, access to the property may be suspended until the required documentation has been received.
7. Pets
Pets are permitted only upon request and with the owner’s express prior approval.
Guests are responsible for their pets, for any disturbance or damage they may cause and for maintaining the cleanliness of the property.
Any pet staying at Mas du Camisard must be properly protected against external parasites, particularly fleas and ticks. Guests must ensure that their pet’s anti-parasite treatment is up to date before arrival.
8. Cancellation by the guest
All cancellations must be notified in writing, by email or registered letter.
The following conditions apply:
- more than 60 days before arrival: the deposit paid will be refunded, less a €50 administration fee;
- between 60 and 30 days before arrival: the deposit will not be refunded;
- within 30 days before arrival: the full rental amount is due.
9. Early departure or interruption of the stay by the guest
If the guest interrupts the stay or leaves early on their own initiative, regardless of the reason, no full or partial refund will be made for unused nights.
The full amount agreed for the stay remains due, subject to any mandatory legal provisions that may apply.
Guests may, if they wish, take out insurance covering cancellation or interruption of their stay.
10. Cancellation or interruption of the stay by the owner
In the event of force majeure or if it becomes impossible to make the property available before the start of the stay, all amounts paid by the guest will be refunded in full, without additional compensation, subject to any applicable mandatory legal provisions.
If such circumstances arise during the stay and render the property uninhabitable or prevent the stay from continuing, any refund will relate solely to the portion of the stay that could not be completed. Nights already used remain payable, subject to any applicable mandatory legal provisions.
11. No statutory right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), the statutory right of withdrawal applicable to certain distance contracts does not apply to accommodation services, other than residential accommodation, provided on a specific date or during a specific period.
Bookings for stays at Mas du Camisard therefore do not benefit from the statutory 14-day withdrawal period applicable to certain distance contracts.
This does not affect the cancellation conditions set out above.
12. Liability and use of facilities
Guests are responsible for their use of the property and the facilities provided, as well as for any damage they cause.
Children must remain under the supervision and responsibility of their parents or the adults responsible for them throughout the stay.
The swimming pool, outdoor areas, table tennis table and other facilities must be used for their intended purpose and in accordance with the instructions provided by the owner.
13. Swimming pool
The swimming pool is regularly maintained by our concierge service.
When heated, the pool temperature is set to 28°C. This is a target temperature and cannot be guaranteed at all times, as the actual water temperature depends in particular on weather conditions and night-time temperatures.
In April, May and October, pool heating may be provided upon request for an additional charge of €5 per day, subject to weather conditions allowing the system to operate properly.
To limit heat loss, the swimming pool must be covered after use and overnight using the cover provided.
14. Applicable law and dispute resolution
These General Terms and Conditions and rental agreements concluded directly with Mas du Camisard are governed by French law, subject to any mandatory legal provisions that may apply.
In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek to reach an amicable solution.
If no amicable agreement can be reached, the dispute may be brought before the competent court in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.
15. Use of the website
The Mas du Camisard website is intended to provide information about the property, its facilities and availability, as well as the arrangements for requesting or making a booking.
The information provided is regularly updated. Changes may nevertheless occur, particularly regarding facilities, availability or conditions of stay.
The specific terms applicable to each booking, including the dates of the stay, number of guests and rental price, are specified in the offer provided to the guest and confirmed in the rental agreement. The general conditions applicable to the booking are those set out in these General Terms and Conditions and in the rental agreement.

Unless otherwise stated, the texts, photographs, graphic elements, logos and other content appearing on the Mas du Camisard website are protected by the applicable intellectual property laws.
